2010 - HF innovates at BEVA

HF recently built a show at the British Equestrian Veterinary Association for a long standing client. Keen to show that the design doesn't have to be limited just because the stand space is restricted, HF went on a mission to create something out of the ordinary. Dramatic results can be achieved whatever the budget, whatever the stand size.

Standing on a single leg and supported by the storeroom wall, the teardrop shaped roof was the main feature of the stand. This allowed downlights to illuminate the space throughout the stand and create a bright and airy atmosphere.  The leg also included three 32inch LED monitors that displayed rolling presentation to be played constantly and yet not interfere with staff/public interaction.  Building the stand at the cramped NIA in Birmingham proved a challenge as until both leg and storeroom were in place the structure was unstable.  It had to be supported by temporary towers whilst being erected.

Project Manager Natalie Ling said ‘As BEVA congress falls at our busiest time of year careful planning of this exhibition was needed.  We were able to have the design finalised weeks before the exhibition which enabled us to have the stand ready to go a month before it was actually required.  This allowed our construction department to manage it’s time more efficiently.  The show was a enormous success’
